Stealing Supplements Not Hearts - NQ Team Target Thomas Street

The Northern Quarter team again continue to tackle issues around Thomas Street / Oak Street / William Fairburn Today with officers PC Barnwell, PC Hunt, PC Read and PC Marshall spearheading ASB and Drug activity in the Northern Quarter. Officers this morning have taken the approach to opt to conduct an early morning weapon and drug sweep of Thomas Street as well as targeting persistent nominals in the area. PC Barnwell took the approach of an early sweep leading to the swift arrest of the wanted female known for repeat issues in the Northern Quarter. This female had previously been identified by PC Hunt for an earlier theft at Holland and Barratt in the Manchester and has today earned her a cosy evening in Longsight Police Station.

Our team have also continued efforts in the area with PC Hunt returning to the area where within half an hour another male has been arrested for possession of Class A drugs who has now been arrested and charged in custody 

Further to issues in the area PC Read has also been dealing with issues regarding the Linx Building with a offender linked with rough sleeping inside the building and causing issues inside the building. This male has been promptly located in the Northern Quarter and arrested on suspicion of a breach of his criminal behaviour order issued by the ASBAT Council Team.
